Al's Finish Carpentry is owned and operated by Alfonso Ruiz. Al is an extremely experienced carpenter and has worked in every area of woodworking for over the last 20 years. His areas of particular expertise are kitchen remodeling, kitchen cabinets, custom countertops, wall units and entertainment centers. In 1994 Al decided to go into business for himself because he couldn't always deliver the level of quality he wanted to while he was working for someone else.

He set up shop in Santa Ana and it wasn't long before his quality work became in great demand. Al hired more staff to help take on the extra work but never lost sight of his original quest for superb quality. Also, Al is a real "hands-on" employer and always gets fully involved with the project himself. As he says himself: "I like to get my hands on the wood." A true craftsman Al is an absolute perfectionist when it comes to his work - - right down to the smallest details.
